TREES & BRANCHES
Downed trees and branches in the boulevard and on private property are the responsibility of the property owner to remove.
Helpful tree maintenance tips to continue to grow healthy trees:
-
Remove bracing - All straps should be removed after the 1st or 2nd year.
-
Pruning to develop strong structure and reduce the likelihood of damage in severe weather.
-
Trunk protection such as, flexible tubing around the base, can protect young trees from lawn mowers, weed eaters, and animals.
-
Place a 2-4" layer of mulch around trees to help reduce weeds, conserve moisture, and improve soil.
