City of Watford City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Hunter’s Run Repair and Completion – Phase I

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Watford City City Hall located at 213 2nd St NE, Watford City, ND 58854, until Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM local time . At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Contract No. 1 – General Construction: Work generally consists of bonding, mobilization, erosion control, installing new water and sanitary sewer main with associated service connections, constructing one new block of 32nd Street NE and reconstructing one block of 35th Street NE and two blocks of 11th Avenue NE within the City of Watford City, consisting of approximately 8,171 square yards of asphalt pavement; 8,803 square yards of aggregate base; 8,803 square yards of geotextile fabric; 234 square yards of concrete valley gutter; 1,187 square yards of concrete sidewalk; 1,826 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter;160 square feet of detectable warning panels;439linearfeet of water main; 441 linear feet of sanitary sewer, 19 water and sewer service connections; and other components such as seeding, signing, site restorations, and incidental trench dewatering are also included.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST), and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office or designated websites by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 for each set.

The Buzz

In Watford I got to go to my first National Park. I made some friends and we went to the badlands and saw things we never heard of before like jackrabbits and mule deer. In my opinion Watford is the best city ever!
