GEO-TECHNICAL: Calculations for footings shall include the presumptive load bearing values contained in IBC Table 1806.2. Where vertical pressure values greater than 1500 psf are used, a geo-technical report shall be provided to verify that the values are justified
Building Department Inspections
Inspections are a required part of the permitting process. It is the responsibility of the permit holder: whether applicant, owner, or licensed contractor to notify the City when any such inspections need to be performed. Inspection appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. To schedule an inspection or for questions regarding the inspection process or whether a particular inspection is required, please directly contact City Building Inspector using the information provided at the top of this page.

The nature and scope of a given project will determine the inspections required for each project. The City will issue a Certificate of Occupancy once all inspections (City & State) have been performed, found to be code compliant and all City fees paid.
